Exhibition of popular American composer, philosopher, poet and artist, a pioneer of aleatory music - John Cage shows the scores, video and audio recordings of his works, graphic works, photographs and documentaries.

The exhibition is devoted to the work of popular American composer, philosopher, poet and artist, a pioneer of aleatory music - John Cage (1912-1992). This exhibition project, demonstrated in Moscow (November 2012 - January 2013) and at present shown in St. Petersburg, is implemented as part of the international program celebrating the 100th anniversary of the composer, which was celebrated in 2012.The St. Petersburg exhibition is complemented with materials of Cage's visit to Leningrad in 1988.
