Peter and Paul Cathedral is the ideological and compositional center of Peter and Paul Fortress. Inside of the Cathedral you will find two main and fabulous parts - the wooden gilded Baroque iconostasis and the altar canopy, presents by Peter the Great and Catherine I.

The exposition tells about the main political prison of the Imperial Russia, about the fates of the prisoners, their treatment and conditions.

The Museum permanent exhibition is devoted to the history of Russian cosmonautics and rocket technology and the role played by the Petersburg-Leningrad scientists, engineers, and designers in the development of this area of Russian science and technology.

The exhibition narrates about the developing of decorative architecture ceramics and interior decoration throughout 18th – early 20th century. The collection features tile stoves and fireplaces, as well as rare façade decoration examples from the well-known St Petersburg buildings.
