The exhibition from the collection of the State Museum of History of St. Petersburg will present paintings and graphic works created in 1941-1944 in the besieged Leningrad by artists who continued the traditions of the Russian avant-garde. Among them are the graphic cycles of Tatiana Glebova (student of Pavel Filonov), “The Horrors of War for Civilians” and “The Besieged Leningrad”; a series of works by a follower of Mikhail Matyushin, Evgenia Magaril; watercolors of Pavel Kondratyev, as well as works by Nikolai Evgrafov, Boris Ermolaev, Alexander Nikolsky and other masters.← Back
