Main theme of the exhibition is children's folklore, hidden from the adult world: special children's signs, spells, horror stories, etc. The visitors can find themselves by walking through the showrooms in a Soviet school or a summer camp, take a walk in the yard or in the woods and even get into the fairy tale.
In the “School” hall old school uniform, traditional blackboard and chalk, favorite books and less favorite schoolbooks of Soviet children are represented. But the most important thing you can learn there is a special sign, what you should do in class not to be called to answer.
In the “Yard” you can play outdoor games: hopscotch, jump rope and make “secrets”. Child mythmaking will reveal that you should pass through the yard carefully, without stepping on the cracks in the asphalt.
The “House” is a territory of board games, rocking-horses, old montpensier tin boxes and “mysteries of life” - objects of a bygone era, almost unknown to modern man.
The “Camp” greets it’s visitors with drums and Pioneer ties. The“Forest” hall reminds of journeys, tents, buckwheat porridge and kayaking adventures.
