The exhibition tells about the first artificial satellite of the Earth which was launched by the Soviet Union on October 4, 1957, and the second satellite that went to outer space on November 3, 1957 with the dog Laika on board.
The exhibition presents commemorative medals, posters, souvenirs, dedicated to this remarkable event in the history of space exploration. Here you can see the satellite layout, the device for measuring X-ray and ultraviolet radiation of the Sun, engines of the first and second stages to the carrier rocket, information stands with photos and drawings of the first satellites.
