The exhibition of works by St Petersburg artist Ivan Tarasiuk features more than 100 objects - decorative porcelain dishes, vases, tea services and sculptures painted by the author in 2013-2014. Most of the exhibits depict the two major passions of the artist: circus and jazz.
Ivan Tarasiuk was born in 1957 in Sverdlovsk. In 1988 he graduated from Ilya Repin Institute of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture in St Petersburg. The artist’s works can be found in the collections of the State Russian Museum, State Museum of City Sculpture, State Museum of the History of St Petersburg, National Library of Russia in St Petersburg, as well as museums of Kaliningrad, Magnitogorsk and Novgorod. Some of the works are in art galleries of Vienna and Paris; private Russian and foreign collections.
Admission: full price - 50 roubles, students – 30 roubles
