Medals from the collection of V.N. Orlov

Part of the exhibition Alexander Blok and his Circle

The exhibition features medals from the collection of V.N.Orlov, associated with writers or dedicated to the anniversaries of publication of eminent books, and other significant events of literary life.
The collection shown at the exhibition contains commemorative, jubilee and souvenir medals mostly issued in 1960-1970s by the Leningrad Mint, but here are some examples of foreign medal art too.
