The exhibition presents a part of the collection of porcelain and glass Easter eggs of the 19th – 21st centuries from the collections of the State Museum of the History of St Petersburg. More than 10 exhibits are on display: production of the Imperial Porcelain Factory, Russian and foreign private companies. Here visitors can see porcelain eggs with monograms of emperors and empresses, specially made by the order of the Russian Imperial Court, which served as personal Easter gifts from the reigning monarchs; Easter eggs with the Russian state emblem, presented to officers and lower ranks during the First World War.
Visitors can buy a new museum edition - the catalog “Porcelain and glass Easter eggs of the 19th – 21st centuries from the collection of the State Museum of the History of St Petersburg”, which describes 100 Easter eggs and 15 objects thematically related to the celebration of Easter (catalog price is 500 rubles).Admission by ticket to the exhibition The Romanovs in St Petersburg: Full - 150 rubles, Students - 100 rubles
